2 shredded wheat biscuits
1 1/2 cup scalded milk
1/2 cup boiling water
3/4 cup molasses
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp shortening
1 pkg yeast
1/4 cup warm water
4-5 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup water and let sit. Mix shredded wheat, milk, water, molasses and salt together and let cool to lukewarm. Add shortening and yeast mixture. Stir in flour one cup at a time. Let rise until doubled and then punch down and shape into 2 loaves. Place in greased bread pans and let rise until doubled. Bake at 400º for 10 minutes and then turn oven down to 350º for 50 minutes or until done.
