5 & 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. salt
1 lb. lard
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 egg, slightly beaten
water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together flour & salt. Mix lightly with hands until it resembles coarse oatmeal. In a cup measure, beat egg slightly, add vinegar & fill to the 1 cup measure. Add only enough water so that dough just clings together. divide into 6 pieces & shape into balls. Transfer to lightly greased pie plates. Trim & mark with fork ariound pie plate & bake 425º for 10 min. to make cream pies or fill with fruit & cover with another crust .
