24 eggs , separated
2 cups sugar
1 qt. bourbon
2 cups brandy
1 qt. heavy cream
2 qts. milk
1 qt.vanilla ice cream
nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg yolks until thick. Add bourbon & brandy & stir thoroughly. [the liquor "cooks" the eggs ]. Add cream & milk & continue whipping. Break up the ice cream & add. Beat egg whites until stiff & fold in.Refrgerate for at least 30 min. before serving. Sprinkle with nutmeg. NOTE#1: This is fairly potent & deceptively smooth, so You might want to cut back on the bourbon & brandy a little. NOTE#2: The ice cream to use should be of good quality [i.e.} Breyer's natural vanilla bean or french vanilla.

Use a good quality bourbon as well. This recipe is for a large crowd. Excellent at Christmas time. I always make a different kind for the younger folk.
