2 C blueberries
1/3 C sugar
1 1/2 T cornstarch
2 T water
1/4 t almond extract
1 refrigerated pie crust (from a box of 2 crusts), softened as directed
1/2 C sliced almonds
1 T coarse sugar crystals

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Grease cookie sheet with spray.
Mix berries, sugar, cornstarch, water and almond extract.
Remove pie crust from pouch and unroll onto cookie sheet. Spread 1/4 C almonds over crust. Press lightly into crust.
Spoon blueberry mixture onto center of crust to within 2" of edge of crust. Fold 2" edge of crust over berry mixture, crimping crust slightly. Sprinkle edge with the coarse sugar.
Bake 20 minutes. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 C almonds over blueberry mixture. Bake 5 - 10 minutes longer or until crust is golden. Cool 15 minutes before serving.
