1 chocolate cake mix (German or Devil's Food)
1/2 C butter
1# caramels
3/4 C half and half
3/4 C chocolate chips
1 C pecans, chopped
Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake according to directions. Pour 1/2 batter into greased 9 x 13 pan and bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. While cake is baking, melt caramels with half and half and butter. Pour over the hot cake, sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Pour rest of batter on top. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees and then 10 additional minutes at 250 degrees.
