1/2 cup soft oleo
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 T. vanilla
1 1/2 cup flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1-2 T. milk
Dates, chocolate kiss, cherry, pecan, or filbert
Icing as desired, white or chocolate

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º.
MIx: oleo, powdered sugar, and vanilla in medium sized bowl; set aside.
Blend flour and salt; add to sugar mixture; if too dry, add 1-2 T. milk to moisten.
Wrap a level tablespoon around filling of choice.
Place on baking sheets.
Bake at 375º for 12-15 minutes.
Cool on wire racks.
Frost, as desired.
