1 1/2 - 2 lb. moose meat
2 T oil
1/2 c. flour
1 T. Lawry's seasoning salt
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. salt and pepper
1 onion
5 good size carrots
3 potatoes
1 c. Alaskan Amber or similar beer

Cube moose meat, add flour and seasonings to 1 gallon zip lock bag. Mix meat in the flour mixture, shake the bag. Next, brown the floured meat in a pan with oil and half of the onion. Once browned, add meat and drippings into crock pot. Add cut up carrots and potatoes and the rest of the onion to pot and add the beer. If too thick you can add water or more beer. Let simmer in crock pot until meat is tender and carrots and potatoes start to break down in to a great tasting moose stew. You can substitute moose with cow if you can't get a moose.
