2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cup margarine softened
1/2 cup molasses
2 eggs
4 1/2 cups flour
3 tsp bs
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp nutmeg
sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl combine sugar, margarine, molasses and eggs until light and fluffy. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon, cloves, ginger and nutmeg. mix well cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 1 hour.
Heat oven to 350 shape dough into 1 " balls and roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 8-10 min till set cookies will puff up and then flatten during baking. Remove and let cool
