1 (18.25-ounce) box spice cake mix
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 (15-ounce) can yams, drained and mashed
1/2 c vegetable oil
1/2 c water
3 large eggs
Frosting:
1 (8-ounce) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c butter, softened
2 T. heavy whipping cream
1 T. honey
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
7 cups confectioners sugar

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Line 2 muffin pans. In large bowl, combine cake mix, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. In a medium bowl, combine yams, oil, water, and eggs; add to cake mix mixture. Beat at medium speed with a mixer until smooth. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups, filling two-thirds full. Bake for 16 to 18 minutes, Let cool. Remove from pans, and cool completely.
Frosting: In large bowl, beat cream cheese, butter, cream, honey, and cinnamon at medium speed with a mixer until creamy. Gradually add confectioners' sugar, beating until smooth.
Spread Cinnamon-Cream Cheese Frosting evenly over cupcakes. Sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired.
