Ingredients:
2 c water
½ c sugar
2 11-oz cans mandarin orange segments
¼ c lemon juice
2 T orange-flavored liqueur (I used OJ concentrate)
1 20-oz can peeled whole lychees

Directions:
Directions:
1. Measure water and sugar into medium saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Boil and stir 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Cool.
2. Place one can of mandarin oranges with syrup into 5-cup blender container. Blend until smooth, about 1 minute. Strain mixture.
3. Stir blended oranges, lemon juice and liqueur (I used OJ concentrate) into cooled sugar mixture. Pour into 1 ½-quart (1.5 L) rectangular baking pan or dish. Freeze until firm, at least 3 hours.
4. Refrigerate lychees and remaining mandarin oranges until cold.
5. To serve, drain lychees, reserving surup, and drained oranges. Spoon fruit and lychee syrup into serving dishes.
6. Remove frozen fruit mixture from freezer. Flake lightly with fork and spoon over fruit in each dish.

Makes about 8 servings.
