4 strips bacon (cut up)
1 medium onion, chopped
2-3 carrots chopped
1-2 stalks celery
1 clove garlic chopped
2 cans or 1 carton chicken broth
2-3 potatoes, cut up
1-2 cups water
2 cans rinsed Great Northern beans
Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon, onion, carrots, celery and garlic together in large pot. Add chicken broth, potatoes and water and cook until done. Add beans and heat until hot.
