18 chicken drumsticks
1 bag black-eyed peas
3 onions, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped into 1/2 inch pieces
1 lb. leeks, chopped
1 bunch parsley
3-4 T dried lemon
Spices tameric, spike and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook chicken legs in 2" salted water for15 minutes; Add onions, cook another 30 minutes.
To 2" salted water, add tameric, spike, pepper and 3-4 T dried lemon. Heat. Add leek, celery and parsley. Cook over low heat.
Mix all of the above (careful not to use too much water).
Cook washed blackeyed peas in 1" salted water until firm (15 min.) Strain.
Mix all; cook 30 minutes in open pot.
Serve over cooked brown rice.
