Crust:
1 cup flour
1 stick oleo

Pie Filling:

1 cup sugar
3 1/2 T water
1 cup cold water
2 T. white corn syrup

3 T. orange Jello dry

2 cups cut up peaches

Directions:

Crust:
1. work together flour and oleo like pie dough.
2. Roll into ball & then pat out into pie pan.
3 Bake 350º 15-20 minutes

Filling:
1. Cook til ingredients except peaches until clear.
2. Take off stove & add 3 T orange jello.
3. Let cool
4. Cut up peaches
5. Add peaches to slightly cooled custard.
6. Stir & pour into crust
7. Refrigerate.
8. Chill 3-4 hours before serving.

Mrs. Schluntz was Gram Scherrebeck's longtime neighbor & friend on Second St between her and the Ella Grissel for many years. This is a light and refreshing fruit pie that tastes like fresh peaches.
