1/4 c. butter, divided
1/2 c. onion, chopped
32 Nilla Wafers, crushed
1 c. apples, chopped
2 tsp. grated orange peel, divided
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
4 Cornish game hens
1/2 c. orange juice
1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
In medium skillet, melt 2 T. butter. Add onion and saute until golden. Remove from heat; blend in 1 2/3 c. wafers, apples, 1 tsp. orange peel and nutmeg. Spoon into hens. Secure with skewers, toothpicks or string. (tie legs together) Place on rack in roasting pan. Bake at 350º for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Combine remaining 2 tsp. butter, 1 tsp. orange peel, orange juice and cornstarch. Cook and stir until mixture thickens. Brush hens with glaze. Turn oven to 400º; bake 15 minutes more or until done.
