1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Wesson oil
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. cooked prunes
1 c. nuts (can use black walnuts)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 1 1/2 c. sugar and oil. Add eggs one at a time. Beat until well mixed. Add flour, soda, spices. Add buttermilk, prunes, nuts. Bake at 350 degrees.

SAUCE:
1/2 c. buttermilk, 1/2 tsp sodam, 1 stick butter, 1 c. sugar
Let dissolve good over heat. Remove from heat. Punch holes in cake and pour sauce over warm cake.
