1 2/3 c. dry small elbow macaroni, cooked & drained
2 T. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1 can evaporated milk
1 c. water
2 T. butter
2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Grease a 2 qt. casserole dish. Combine cornstarch, salt, mustard, and pepper in a medium saucepan. Stir in evaporated milk, water, and butter. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in 1 1/2 c. cheese until melted. Add macaroni; mix well. Pour into the prepared casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and light brown. Serves 4.
