2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 tsp soda

1 cup hot water
2 sticks oleo
4 T. cocoa

===================================
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk or sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla


===================================Fudge Frosting:
6 T oleo
6 T milk
1 1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup chocolate chips



Directions:
Directions:
Sift together 2 cups. flour, 2 cups sugar, & 2 tsp soda.
Heat til oleo melts: 1 cup hot water, 2 sticks oleo, & 4 T cocoa.

Over flour mixture, pour 2 eggs, 1 cup buttermilk.sour milk, 1 tsp vanilla, Add hot water/oleo/cocoa mixture, beat on medium speed 3 minutes.
Pour into large jelly roll pan. Bake 375º 20-30 minutes. Frost while still warm with the Fudge Frosting recipe.

Frosting instructions:
Bring 6 T oleo, 6 T milk, & 1 1/2 cups sugar to a boil in a large microwave pitcher. Boil 1 1/2 minutes, REmove from heat & stir in choc chips til melted & mixture begins to thicken. Frost cake while still warm.

This is a wonderful sheet cake, moist and delicious. Joanna's sheet cake was a huge Family Favorite. TEXAS SHEET CAKE!!! YUM!!! was the comment at many a potluck and family meals.
