Brie cheese round or two triangles
1 c apricot preserves
3/4 c brandy or apricot brandy
baguette cut in 1/2 in slices and soda bread crackers
strawberries for garnish
lemon leaves if available (If you live in citrus country!)

Directions:
Directions:
Let brie come to room temperature at least 1 hr.

(Very important) Poke holes in top with fork. Place on plate with scattered lemon leaves (if available).

Heat preserves and brandy till hot (not boiling). Pour over cheese.

Garnish with strawberries. Serve with bread and crackers.

My friend Sharman gave me this recipe about 20 years ago. (She lives in CA and had a lemon tree). We've made this many times for showers and get togethers.
