2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 t. salt
1/2 T. soda
1 t. baking powder
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. coconut
2 t. coconut flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, oil, and eggs. Beat well. Combine dry ingredients and add to above by alternating with buttermilk. Pour into greased 10 in. tube pan. Bake at 350º for 1 hr. 10 mins.

Syrup:
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
2 T. margarine
1 t. coconut flavoring

Combine ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil for 5 mins. Poke small holes in top of cake and pour syrup over while the cake is hot. Sprinkle top with coconut and nuts for decoration.
