3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
2 large eggs
1 15-oz. can pumpkin
1 12-fl. oz MILNOT
1 unbaked 9" (4 cup) deep dish pie shell

Directions:

Mix: sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in a small bowl; set aside.
Beat eggs in large bowl; stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture; blend slightly.
Add Milnot gradually, stirring until blended.

Bake at 425º for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350º, baking for 40-50 more minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
Cool on wire race for two hours. Serve immediately, or refrigerate.

Milnot is a brand of evaporated (not usually carried by big box stores), but it is the secret to a perfect
pumpkin pie.
1 3/4 tsp. pumpking pie spiece may be used for above spices, but may not taste the same.
