1 Large Onion, chopped
2 Cloves Garlic chopped fine
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 can 4 oz. chopped green chilies
(optional add chopped Jalapenos for extra heat)
1 Tbsp. ground cumin
5 cups chicken broth
1 can 15 oz. tomato sauce
1 can 14-1/2 oz. diced tomatoes w/garlic & onion, undrained
1# diced chicken
1/4 cup minced cilantro or parsley
2 tsp. lime juice
salt and pepper to taste
crushed tortilla chips
shredded Monterrey Jack or cheddar cheese

In a large sauce pan, saute onion in oil; add chilies, garlic, japaleno & cumin. Stir in broth, tomato sauce & tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, stir in chicken. Simmer uncovered for 10 min. Add cilantro, lime juice, salt and pepper. Top w/ cheese and chips.
