Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 cup shortening
2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
4 oz. chocolate
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
salt
1 1/2 cup oatmeal (optional)
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sour cream

Frosting:
1 oz chocolate
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup Crisco
1/3 cup milk
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter, add melted chocolate, eggs, and flour and remaining ingredients. Mix together.
Bake 350º 12 or 15 minutes
Then frost cookies with frosting mixed as directed below:
Put all ingredients in pan & bring to boil. Let boil 1 minute. Add 1 tsp vanilla. Cool and beat to spreading consistency.
