1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/2 tablespoon butter
4 large eggs
1 cup plain yogurt
1 cup half-and-half
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 cup chopped ham
1 cup (4-ounces) shredded Swiss cheese
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a skillet, saute finely chopped onion in butter until soft; remove from the heat and set aside.
3. In a medium bowl combine eggs, yogurt, half and half, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and the cooked onion.
4. Sprinkle chopped ham and shredded Swiss cheese in a 9-inch unbaked pie shell. Add the egg mixture then bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the top puffs, browns lightly, and the center is set.
