1 tube Italian sausage (16 oz.)
1 onion, diced
6 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
1/8 tsp. cumin
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/8 tsp. salt
1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz.)
1 can tomato sauce (8 oz.)
1 can tomato paste (6 oz.)

Directions:
Brown sausage over medium heat. Start with frozen sausage for finer chunks. Add onions, garlic, and spices. Allow onions to slightly caramelize before adding tomato sauce, paste and diced tomatoes. Reduce heat to low and let sit at least 30 minutes before serving over your choice of pasta.

Jennie and I came up with this recipe attempting to recreate my Mom's spaghetti sauce. Don't tell her, but I think ours is even better!
