1 lb. ground beef and/or Italian sausage
9 lasagna noodles
1 ½ qt. spaghetti sauce
1 clove garlic
½ med. onion, sauted
1 lb. ricotta cheese
½ lb mozzarella cheese
1 egg
1 c. parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the meat. Drain and add the spaghetti sauce, sauted onion, and garlic. Cook the noodles according to package directions. In a bowl beat the egg, then add the ricotta and parmesan cheeses and stir. Spread a small amount of sauce in bottom of 13 x 9 pan. Place 3 noodles on top of sauce. Spoon half of the ricotta mixture onto the noodles and spread. Cover with almost half of the spaghetti sauce mixture. Sprinkle 1/3 of the mozzarella on top. Add another layer of 3 noodles, topped with the other half of the ricotta, all but 1 cup of the sauce and 1/3 of the mozzarella. Top with the last 3 noodles, the remaining cup of sauce and the remaining mozzarella. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes, or until bubbly and the cheese begins to brown. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
