1/2 CUP SUGAR
1/2 CUP MILK
3 TSP BAKING POWDER
4 TBL SPRAY (CRISCO)
2 EGGS
1 TSP ANISE FLAVORING

Mix well until dough is no longer sticky. Roll 1 inch balls, bake for 12 minutes at 350º

Let cool then frost. FROSTING
1 Box powder sugar, Tsp of flavoring of your choice to match cookie. Add milk, mix till smooth. Frost cookies add decorations if desired.

Can substitute Anise for Vanilla, lemon, almond or cherry extracts or flavor of your choice: This recipe is an old favorite of the Italians. Recipe passed down through Paul's Mother's family the Venturas.
