First mix:
1 c. flour
1/2 c. margarine or butter
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tbsp water

Second mix:
1 c. water
1/2 c. margarine or butter
pinch of salt
1 c. flour
3 eggs
1/2 tsp almond flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
First: 1 c. flour, 1/2 c. butter, 1/8 tsp salt and mix like pie crust and add 1 tbsp water. Divide into two parts and press out (little crumbly).

Second: Bring to boil 1 c. water, 1/2 c. butter, and pinch of salt. Take of fire and add 1 c. flour and stir til smooth. Cool a little. Add 3 eggs (one at a time) and beat til smooth. Add 1/2 tsp almond flavoring. Put on top of first part and spread to edges. bake at 350º for 1 hr. Cool and frost with powder sugar frosting with little almond flavor added.
