1-2 racks of ribs
brown sugar
black pepper
red pepper
celery
onion
red or green pepper
vinegar
water
BBQ sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Rub the ribs with brown sugar. Sprinkle with black and red pepper. Chop 1 to 2 c. of celery, onion, and red or green pepper and spread over ribs which have been placed in a single layer in a shallow baking pan. Add 1/2 c. vinegar and 1/2 c. water. Cover loosely with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 2-3 hours. Pour off the liquid and slather with barbeque sauce. Grill or broil for 2-3 minutes a side.
