3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. vegetable shortening
1/2 c. ice water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour and salt. Cut in shortening with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly and texture is the size of peas. Sprinkle ice water over mixture, stirring with a fork just until it holds together and leaves side of bowl clean. Roll out and bake according to recipe. Makes enough for a 2 crust 10" pie. For a baked pie crust: 475º for 8-10 minutes.
