3-4 c. flour
1 pkg dry yeast
1 tsp salt
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. Crisco
1 3/4 c. milk
powder sugar
cinnamon & sugar mix

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 1 1/2 c flour, yeast, salt, and sugar in large bowl. Heat milk and shortening until luke warm. Add dry ingredients and beat 2 minutes. Add eggs and 1/2 c. flour to form thick batter. Beat on high 2 more minutes. Stir in enough flour to make soft dough. Knead lightly. Cover in bowl until double in size (about 1 hour). Roll dough on floured surface 1/4 inch thick. Cut into triangles or squares. Press out center and fry in hot oil turning once to brown both sides. Cover with sugar of choice. Serve warm.
