6 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg

BUTTERMILK SYRUP
1 1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 tbsp. corn syrup
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. vanilla

Take 1/2 tsp of butter and spread in a 9 X 13 pan.
Mix eggs, milk, flour, salt, butter, sugar & nutmeg in blender and process till smooth.
Pour into greased cake pan and Bake @ 400º till brown about 20 to 25 min.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar serve with buttermilk Syrup (opt)
Buttermilk Syrup: In heavy sauce pan mix sugar, buttermilk, butter,corn syrup, soda & vanilla.
Simmer until sugar dissolves and serve over pancakes.

I serve the pancakes with bacon or sausage and eggs on the side. I do not always use the syrup.
They puff up while baking but fall shortly after you take out of the oven. They are a favorite with the grandkids.
This is a very old family recipe and can NOT be found in any cookbook.
This recipe comes from my Father-In-Law's side of the family in North Dakota.
