1 package of carrot cut in sticks
1 T. Salt
2 tsp. dill weed or seed
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. sugar
2 T. onion flakes
1 cup water
1 cup vinegar

Directions:

1. Mix together and pour over carrots.
2. Refrigerate 24 hours
3. Stir often
4. Drain and keep covered in refrigerator

This recipe is probably from the 50-60's era before baby carrots came into stores. I am certain that Baby carrots would work quite well with this recipe. What is really nice is that with Baby carrots, the only prep is to wash the carrots and drain them. This recipe was handwritten on a Steadman Printing Company notepad, they were located at 319-7th Street SE CR.
