2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cream tartar
2 tsp sugar
1/2 cup Crisco
2/3 cup milk

Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening until resembles course crumbs. Add milk all at once & stir just till dough follows fork around bowl. Pat out dough in rectangles 1/2 inch thick. Brush with melted oleo. Spread over top mixtures of sugar & cinnamon & sugar. Roll up like jelly roll and then slice into 1" slices. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 10-12 minutes or til light brown at 425º Cool slightly and frost with simple butter/powder sugar icing.
