1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. cool whip topping
1 c. powdered sugar
2 (3 oz.) boxes instant pudding, flavor of your choice
2 2/3 c. milk
3 c. cool whip topping
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped for topping

Directions:

Mix together flour, butter and walnuts. Pat into a lightly greased 9x13" pan. Bake at 375º for 15 minutes and then let cool. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, 1 c. cool whip and sugar. Spread cream cheese mixture over top of cooled crust. In a bowl, whisk together pudding mix and milk. Pour over cream cheese mixture and let set for 1 hour. Top with 3 cups cool whip then sprinkle with more chopped walnuts and refrigerate.

Ida gave me this recipe when we were first married in 1977. It has been a family favorite ever since. We like chocolate pudding the best and lemon pudding is a close second!
