6 slices bacon, diced
1 med sized onion, finely chopped
1 28oz can plum tomatoes
1 ½ t sugar
1 t salt
¼ t pepper
1 pkg bow ties
¼ c heavy or whipping cream
1 T chopped parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon till browned, remove bacon to paper towels
Pour out all but 2 T of bacon fat; cook onion in fat over med. Heat. Add tomatoes with their liquid, sugar, salt and pepper, stirring to break up tomatoes, over high heat, heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Cook bow ties as directed (w/o salt)
When pasta is done, stir cream and parsley into tomato mixture. Heat thru (don’t boil)
Serve pasta in deep dish platter, spoon sauce over pasta in deep dish platter, sprinkle bacon
