Directions:
Directions:
Boil 2c. water and 1 tsp. salt.
Add: 1 c. white rice and bring to a boil again.
boil until water is just about gone. ( stir often)
Add half and half and milk. Put in oven and stir every so often . When rice is cooked, add 1/2 c. sugar and put in oven again for 20 to 40. Take out and stir in raisins, 4 tbsp. butter and 11/2 tbsp vanilla. Serve warm or cold. May sprinkle with cinnamon. This will be alittle runny when you take it out of the oven. If you do it on top of the stove it will probably take only 1 hour. If you do it in the oven it will take longer. I like to do it in the oven because it won't scorch on the bottom .
