3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. sugar
3 beaten eggs
1 1/4 c. salad oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts (if desired)
4 c. cubed apples

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, salt, and baking soda; set aside. Combine sugar and eggs in a large mixing bowl.
Add the salad oil and vanilla; beat with an electric mixer until well blended. Add chopped nuts and flour mixture; beat well. Stir in apples and pour into a 9' x 13' ungreased pan and bake at 325º for approximately 1 hour.
