1-1/2 cups warm water
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 Tbsp. sugar
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
4 cups flour
Sesame seeds to sprinkle over bread, optional
Cornmeal to sprinkle pans with

Directions:
Directions:
Put the warm water into a large bowl and add all ingredients except flour. Stir until butter and yeast are dissolved. Add about 2 cups of the flour and stir well. Now add the rest of the flour and mix well. Put dough in a greased bowl and let rise about one hour, flopping with a fork about every 10 to 15 minutes. Punch dough down. Put dough on a floured board and divide into two balls and roll out to about 12x14-inches, then roll up like a jellyroll. Sprinkle pan with corn meal, if desired. Place dough in pan and let rise again for about 1 to 1-1/2 hours. After this, bake in a 400-degree oven for about 25 to 30 minutes. While baking, rub the dough with butter after the first 15 minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Makes 2 loaves.
