2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp shortening
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients, cut in shortening. Add beaten egg to milk and add dry ingredients to make soft dough. Take 1/2 of dough and pat out lightly and put in deep greased layer pan. Spread with butter. Cover with other half of dough which has been patted out to fit the pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Split while hot and put crushed sweetened berries and whipped cream in center. Add some on top. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
