2 T. vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 med. onion, chopped
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
3 sm. cans tomato paste
2 cans hot water (tomato paste cans)
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 lb. lasagna noodles (approx. 10 pcs)
1 egg
1 lb. cottage cheese
1 lb. mozzarella cheese - grated

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion in oil over medium heat; add garlic once onions are translucent. Add beef and brown; add salt, pepper, seasoning, tomato paste, and hot water. Simmer uncovered for 1/2 hour.

Prepare lasagna noodles as directed (to al dente doneness) and drain. Mix cottage cheese and egg. In a casserole dish, spread a bit of the sauce over the bottom, then alternate noodles, cottage cheese mixture, grated cheese; repeat. Finish with mozzarella cheese.

Bake at 350º for 30 min until hot, bubbly, and slightly browned on top. Remove from oven and let stand for 15 min.
