5 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. tartar
1/2 tsp. cornstarch

whipped cream and fruit

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 250º. Beat egg whites and vanilla at low speed until slightly beyond foamy. In a separate bowl, slowly blend sugar, tartar, and cornstarch. Then slowly add to egg white mixture, while beating on high. (Takes about 5 minutes) Continue beating until thick and shiny. Spoon onto parchment paper making an impression in each (to hold whipped cream and fruit) Bake until tan (about one hour) Cool and fill.
