1 cup butter or margarine softened
1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 cups sifted flour 1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Heat Oven 400 degrees
Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla together thoroughly. Sift flour and salt , gradually stir into butter mixture. Roll into 1" balls, place onto ungreased cookie sheet (cookies don't spread). Bake about 8 minutes just until set Not brown!! While still warm roll in powdered sugar or just sprinkle some over tops of cookies.
