2 cans white shoepeg corn (drained), 1 8 oz. pkg. creamed cheese, 1 stick butter/margarine, 1 T. sugar, 1 T. chopped jalapeno peppers, salt and pepper to taste

Soften cream cheese and margarine until smooth. Add rest of ingredients, and put in greased 9 x 13 casserole dish at 350º until really bubbly and thickened.

From Vera Davis: She doesn't use quite that much sugar and she usually triples the recipe for large gatherings. Carol brought it to their first Thanksgiving together.
