Crust : 2 C flour
3/4 C shortening
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 C milk

9-10 apples peeled and sliced,
1/2 c sugar/cinnamon

2 C sugar
2 C water
1/4 C butter
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Roll out crust ingredients for a 2 crust pie. I skip this and use 2 refrigerated Pillsbury ready crusts. Put one into a large spongeware casserole. Mix apples and sugar/cinnamona and put into casserole. Top with the second crust. Cook the liqs. to dissolve. Then pour over cobbler. Bake at 400º about an hour.
