3 GREEN ONIONS CHOPPED
2 GARLIC CLOVES MINCED
1 LARGE ONION CHOPPED
1 TBS VEGETABLE OIL
2 POUNDS GROUND BEEF
1 15 OZ CAN OF TOMATO SAUCE
1 6 OZ CAN TOMATO PASTE
2 CUPS WATER
1-2 TBS CHILI POWDER TO TASTE
1 TSP SALT
DASH OF PEPPER
2 16 OZ CANS KIDNEY BEANS, ONE DRAINED AND ONE UNDRAINED
CONDIMENTS: CORN CHIPS OR TORTILLA CHIPS, CHEESE, SOUR CREAM ONIONS ETC.

SAUTE FIRST 5 INGREDIENTS IN OIL IN A LARGE DUTCH OVEN. ADD GROUND BEEF AND BROWN. DRAIN WELL. ADD TOMATO SAUCE AND NEXT FIVE INGREDIENTS. STIR AND BRING TO A BOIL. REDUCE HEAT AND SIMMER UNCOVERED FOR 30 MINUTES. ADD BEANS THE LAST 15 MINUTES.
