Ingredients: 2 pkgs cream cheese 1/2 tsp garlic salt 1/2 cup sour cream 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce 1 jar Picante Sauce - med or hot 1 to 1 1/2 lbs ground beef 1 pkg taco seasoning mix 1 head lettuce 3 to 4 tomatoes diced 1 can pitted black olives 1 lb shredded cheddar cheese

Directions: |
Directions:Mix together cream cheese, garlic salt, sour cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Spread onto a large (14 - 16 inch) dish.
Spread picante sauce on as the second layer.
Saute ground beef and taco seasoning together and drain when done. This becomes the third layer.
Shred lettuce and place over ground beef as the fourth layer.
Cover lettuce with shredded cheddar cheese.
Place diced tomatoes and halved black olives over the cheese, can place in a decorative fashion.
Place taco chips in a circle around the outside edges of the taco salad. |

Notes: You can add or subtract cream cheese and sour cream. Chris and Jennie like it creamy and we both like lots of cheddar cheese. You can also put more or less lettuce than stated.
