1/3 CUP BUTTER SOFTENED
3/4 CUP MASHED RIPE BANANAS
1/4 CUP BUTTERMILK
1 TSP VANILLA
1 EGG
1 1/4 CUP FLOUR
1 TSP BAKING POWDER
1/2 TSP BAKING SODA
1/2 TSP KOSHER SALT
1/2 TSP CINNAMON
1/8 TSP CLOVES
1/8 TSP NUTMEG
FROSTING; 1-1 1/2 CUPS POWDERED SUGAR TO TASTE,
1/2 OF AN 8OZ PACKAGE OF CREAM CHEESE, 2 TBS BUTTER SOFTENED, 1 TBS MILK 1/2 TSP VANILLA

HEAT OVEN TO 350º. SPRAY A 8 OR 9 INCH SQUARE PAN WITH COOKING SPRAY. MIX FLOUR AND THE NEXT 6 INGREDIENTS IN A SMALL BOWL. MIX WITH FORK OR WHISK. IN A LARGER BOWL COMBINE SUGAR AND THE 1/3 CUP OF BUTTER. BEAT UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY. ADD BANANAS, BUTTERMILK, VANILLA AND EGG. BLEND WELL. ADD THE MIXED DRY INGREDIENTS. STIR UNTIL EVENLY MOISTENED. POUR INTO PREPARED PAN.BAKE AT 350º FOR 25-30 MINUTES OR UNTIL TOOTHPICK INSERTED INTO CENTER OF CAKE COMES OUT CLEAN.
COOL COMPLETELY.
IN SMALL BOWL COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS FOR
FROSTING. BEAT WITH MIXER AND SPREAD ON COOLE
CAKE. STORE IN REFRIGERATOR.
