2 1/4 POUNDS OF SWEET POTATOES, COOKED, PEELED AND MASHED
1 LARGE EGG, LIGHTLY BEATEN
1/3 CUP DARK BROWN SUGAR FIRMLY PACKED
1/3 CUP MILK
2TBS BUTTER
1TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
1/2 TSP SALT
1/2 CUP FIRMLY PACKED DARK BROW SUGAR
1/4 CUP FLOUR
2 TBS BUTTER CUT UP 1/3 CUP CHOPPED PECANS

STIR TOGETHER FIRST 7 INGREDIENTS AND SPOON INTO A LIGHTLY GREASED 8 INCH SQUARE BAKING DISH.
COMBINE 1/2 CUP BROWN SUGAR AND 1/4 CUP FLOUR. CUT IN 2 TBS COLD BUTTER WITH A PASTRY BLENDER OR A FORK UNTIL MIXTURE IS CRUMBLY. STIR IN PECANS. SPRINKLE ON CASSEROLE AND BAKE AT 350º FOR 25-30 MINUTES
