4 c. crisp cold lettuce leaves, shredded
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/4 tsp. salt
4 slices or bacon, fried crisp and crumbled, reserve 2 T. drippings
2 green onions with tops, chopped
4 tsp. cider vinegar
2 tsp. water
hard boiled egg, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients, except vinegar in a large salad bowl. Leave about 2 tablespoons of the bacon drippings in fry pan and add the vinegar and water. Heat in the frying pan and pour over the top of the salad. Decorate the top with the eggs.
