1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. margarine
1 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. chopped dates
1/2 c. walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour and salt. Sift 2 times. Cream butter, add sugar gradually, add milk and vanilla. Stir in flour. Blend in dates and nuts. Roll into 1" balls. Place about 3" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 300º 20 min until light brown. While still warm roll in powder sugar.
